I switched Abhik.com from Django to WordPress a couple of years ago with the idea it would simplify publishing new content and, subsequently, lower the inertia to create it.

Well, it didn't work. The combination of startup life, laziness, and the awful interface that is WordPress (more on that later) squashed all hope of that.

This summer, I decided to try again by switching Abhik.com to SquareSpace and using Medium to help me start writing. The transition to SquareSpace was incredibly smooth and I even managed to add some new artwork in the process.

Going forward, the idea is to add a thoughtful blog post and finished art piece every week. Wish me luck!
